Draft

This document is a working draft, pending review by a licensed attorney. It is provided for transparency about how RuleRobin operates and is not final legal advice. If anything here conflicts with what an attorney later confirms, the reviewed version governs.

RuleRobin is a service of Athanor Works LLC(“RuleRobin,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to rulerobin.com and the lead form on it. It does not cover any separate paid application, which will have its own notice when it launches.

Information we collect

  • What you send us through the form. Your name and email address are required. You may also give us your facility or business name, your state, a phone number, and a description of your site (tanks, chemicals, distance to water, and similar details). You choose what to put in the free-text field, so please do not include sensitive personal information there.
  • Technical and security data. Like most sites, our hosting and bot-protection providers process limited technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of your request. We use this to deliver the site, to rate-limit and screen the form against spam and abuse, and to keep the service secure.
  • What the SPCC self-screen does not collect. The on-page SPCC self-screen runs entirely in your browser. The numbers and answers you type into it are not sent to us or stored by us unless you separately fill out and submit the lead form.
  • Cookies and analytics. This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. If we add privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics later, we will update this policy and this list before turning it on.

Why we use it

We use the information you send to respond to your inquiry, to tell you which compliance plan applies to your site and what it costs, to prepare a quote or plan if you ask us to, and to keep records of our communications with you. We use technical and security data to operate, secure, and improve the site. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

We do not sell or share your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used under California law. We do not currently meet the thresholds that trigger a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link, so we do not display one. If that ever changes, we will add the link and honor opt-out preference signals.

Service providers we rely on

We share information only with the vendors that help us run the site, and only as needed for them to perform that service. Each is bound by its own agreement and privacy terms.

  • Vercel hosts the website and processes request data to serve pages.
  • Resend delivers the notification email that carries your inquiry to our inbox.
  • Cloudflare provides the Turnstile check that helps us tell real submissions from automated ones.
  • If we enable a durable backup store for form submissions (for example, a database or a webhook to a spreadsheet), it will be added here before it goes live.

Payment and account vendors (for example, a payment processor and a customer database) are not used by this marketing site today. They will be listed here before any paid product goes live.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep a reasonable record of our dealings, and then we delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time using the contact details below. We may keep the minimum needed to comply with our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and residents of some other states have similar rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. To make a request, email us at contact@rulerobin.com. We will verify your request by confirming details you have already given us, and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it. Because we do not track you across other websites or over time, our behavior is the same whether or not that signal is set.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and their operators. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions travel over an encrypted connection, and access to inquiries is limited. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes or as an attorney review is completed. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be made conspicuous on the site.
